JustSo PhotoAlbum 3

Create an online Photo Album without the need to create a separate page for each image, and without ASP or other server-side processing. This command automatically creates thumbnail images for you and displays them on your own page, with each thumbnail having a (Safari compatible!) JustSo PictureWindow 3 (jspw3) behavior attached - to popup the fullsize version of your image. It uses all the power of jspw3 (which you must also buy!) to create popups with many options, including CSS control of their appearance. There is even a new companion Behavior available to preload the fullsize images to speed the user's experience.

Note: Fireworks must be installed for jspA3 to work! It will not work with any other image editing software. And, again, you must purchase jsPictureWindow3 in addition to jsPhotoAlbum3, as it does not come with it.)

One of the unique default features of jspw3 popups is that the popup image itself be displayed full-size or sized downwards if needed to fit on lower resolution monitors. So your visitor always gets to see the full image no matter the monitor resolution. See JustSo PictureWindow 3 for more details.

JustSo Popup windows, although they do not allow for navigation from image screen to image screen, do mean that sites with several hundred images need not have a separate page for each, simplifying ongoing maintenance and dramatically shrinking site size on the server.

There are many powerful features of JustSo PhotoAlbum 3:

• Most important - adds Jspw3 behaviors, not the old Jspw1.
• For ease of use: You may now pick and choose the images to utilize from your folder of source images. This gives you much more control over your album.
• The Gallery table is added as an object to your page, right at the cursor location.
• Comes with built-in CSS-based Themes for the the thumbnails Gallery table. You may modify the css files or add your own!
• Save your JspA3 settings as Site Defaults to make creating mulitple Albums quick, easy and reproducible.
• You may now elect not to add _t and _f to the thumbnail and fullsize imagenames.
• Optionally display your thumbnails sorted alphanumerically on imagename (not just an alpha or numeric sort, but capable of results like: pic1a, pic1b, pic2a, ... pic9, pic10, pic11a, pic11c ...).

JustSo Photo Album3 adds the thumbnail images to the current document rather than creating a new page. The benefits:

• This broadens the application of this Object to situations other than just massive photo albums. You can use it to create and add just one or a few thumbnails to any page.
• You have complete control over the appearance of the entire page to which you are adding the jspA3 table - it is YOUR page to which it is applied, not one created using someone else's rules.
• being able to apply this even to template-based pages adds additional control and broadens its application even further.

If you have created jspA1 pages in the past, good news! You can easily convert jspA1 albums (or any other pages now bearing jspw1 or jspw2 behaviors) to JustSo PictureWindow3 (jspw3) behaviors with the jspwTo3 conversion utility, included free in jspA3, but also available separately.
