Can your server run EyesOnly?
and if so, does it also support Server Side Includes?

  1. Find the file "eoServerTest.shtml" (it's in the PasswordProtect6 zip package you purchased, or get it here.) Place it on your server and open it in your favorite browser.
  2. If it fails to open at all, then the problem is likely its .shtml extension, so change the ".shtml" extension to ".shtm" and try again.
  3. If that fails too, then try, in sequence, ".sht", ".html", and ".htm".
  4. Viewing the page, at step 1, 2, or 3 it will report two things to you:

If the server test reports that you are able to use EyesOnly, then you should do so.

If it also reports that the server supports Server Side Includes, then you should choose that option when adding EyesOnly AND you will also need to use the acceptable SSI file extension for your document. So if ".shtm" was the successful file extension in the testing above, then your document must be named: "docname.shtm"
