Reset Image Sizes utility
To True
Dimensions
Discontinued. This page is available as Help for current users.
This command is used to reset images on your HTML pages to their true dimensions. This is useful if you have made extensive edits to images in, e.g. Fireworks and now wish to refresh their dimensions in your HTML documents. It also easy in DW to inadvertently alter image dimensions when moving images around a page. This command easily resets a whole page of such distorted images to their original size.
It can also be used to add dimensions to images on your pages to speed apparent loading of the page:
A user wrote: "I have 484 pages of images in an online catalogue. I used Photoshop to create a Web gallery, then cut and pasted those pages into a DW template. NONE of the images had dimensions; slowing down the load time in any browser. This extension saved *HOURS* of manually entering the width and height of all those images! Thanks a tonne!" -hcraven
Note: This same technique can be used for a JustSo Photo Album thumbnails page to add image dimensions for speedier page loading!
